Information about the custody status of the offender and the status of the criminal case.

Notification of the release of the offender from county custody and notification of upcoming court dates.

Simply call the toll free number 1-877-846-3445 from any touch-tone telephone and follow the prompts. Operator assistance is available 24 hours a day.

The following information if available through Cook County AVN:

In custody means that the offender is behind bars at Cook County Jail.

Victims may access custody information and register for notification using any of the following:

Defendant’s name

Defendant’s date of birth if there are multiple defendants with the same name

· IR number
· Cook County Jail identification number

Victims may access court date information and register for notification using any of the following:

Defendant’s name

· IR number
· Circuit Court Clerk’s 11-digit case number
· Police or incident report number.
