Leadership Awards Ceremony is held in conjunction with
the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Reception.
The Community Leadership Award honors the accomplishments
of an outstanding individual in the Asian Pacific American
Community who has demonstrated a commitment to the prevention
of crime and the care of crime victims. In addition, the Cook County State's Attorney's Office
has incorporated an essay contest in celebration and
recognition of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
The essay contest reflects the State's Attorney's objective
to encourage students to consider working in public
service and to possibly one day join the office as an
