ABOUT THE ASIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARDS

For More Information Call (312) 603-8714

The Cook County State's Attorney's Office Community Leadership Awards Ceremony is held in conjunction with the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Reception. The Community Leadership Award honors the accomplishments of an outstanding individual in the Asian Pacific American Community who has demonstrated a commitment to the prevention of crime and the care of crime victims.

In addition, the Cook County State's Attorney's Office has incorporated an essay contest in celebration and recognition of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. The essay contest reflects the State's Attorney's objective to encourage students to consider working in public service and to possibly one day join the office as an Assistant State's Attorney.
