The mission of the Cook County State's Attorney's Community Outreach and Special Events Unit is to raise awareness about crime prevention and to communicate to the public about the services offered by our office. The unit also works to strengthen our existing relationships while building new partnerships with the many diverse communities of Cook County.

Advisory councils

The State's Attorney has several Community Advisory Councils that represent diverse communities within the county. The councils provide a two-way communication for raising crime-related issues and concerns to and from the State's Attorney's Office.
