While growing up in a small town in the south, I never dreamed that I would be working for one of the largest prosecutor’s offices in the country. Working at the office has been an incredible experience that has allowed me to help victims of crimes and make the community of Chicago a safer place. I feel that the experience and perspectives I’ve gained growing up in the south has put me in a unique position to handle many difficult issues I face on a daily basis. The significance of our justice system and how it affects the lives of so many was something that has always intrigued me. Early on, I developed a strong sense of social and moral obligation, which I believe instilled in me the honorable and ethical values that go to the heart of this profession. My sincere belief has always been that a single prosecutor can make a huge difference in a victim’s life.
