State’s Attorney Alvarez with Pride Award recipient Glen Pietrandoni, a 20 year Walgreen’s pharmacist and
HIV medicine expert.  Pietrandoni began his career with Walgreens in 1990 and managed the first
Walgreens pharmacy in Chicago that specialized in HIV/AIDS pharmacy services. Pietrandoni now
oversees the Walgreens program for people living with HIV/AIDS across the country.
