Harper High School HIstorical Black College Tour -
Sendoff - March 13, 2008



This spring the State's Attorney's Office, along with members of his African-American Advisory Council donated and distributed care packages to Harper High School students as they prepared to visit historical black colleges and universities.

The Office and the council initiated this program in 2006, after Starkeshia Reed, an honor student at Harper, was killed by a stray bullet in her Englewood home.
