Alvarez Bestowed With Honorary Membership
in Hellenic American Police Association

Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez was bestowed an honorary membership in the Hellenic American Police Association at the organization’s annual dinner dance last on February 15.

“I’m pleased to receive an honorary membership in this organization”, said Alvarez. “ I look forward to working with H.A.P.A. to address the issues of affecting our communities.”  

The organization, which is an association of Greek Police Officers, also named Sergeant Anargyros (A.K.) Kereakes its Officer of Year.

This year’s event was held at the Chateau Ritz Banquet Hall in Niles, IL and was co-hosted by Anna Davlantes and Kim Vatis of the NBC 5 News Team.
