Thomas Tullidge Cullen is a well-known American attorney from Virginia. He is the son of the former Attorney General of Virginia Richard Cullen. He was born in 1977. This 43-year-old attorney is now serving as an attorney for the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. President Trump nominated him on 27 February 2018. He joined the office on 30 March 2018. He has been a licensed attorney for over 15 years now.
On 18 December 2019, he was nominated by President Trump to serve as a United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. His nomination was sent to the Senate on 4 February 2020.
Attorney Cullen is currently the highest-ranking federal law officer in the Western District of Virginia, which comprises 17 cities and 46 counties. There are around 70 employees, including 30 Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys and Assistant U.S. Attorneys, who work under his guidance.
Being a U.S. Attorney, he is responsible for monitoring federal crimes that take place within the district. The office of the U.S. Attorney is also involved in civil actions and collecting debts owed to the government.
